My name is Antonia Nowels, and my purpose for this website is to provide readers with a better understanding of what different products do to their skin.

After spending my teenage years with several different skin issues, and countless dermatologist visits, I grew tired of guessing when it came to products as a whole. I was overwhelmed by the product advertising that I saw on social media, and by the amount of content I was consuming related to skincare.

I decided to do my own research, not about products, but about their individual ingredients. I wanted to understand what the products I was using were made of, not just what the brand claimed they did.

I then created this website, to be a quick and easy way to figure out which ingredients do what. I wanted to create a place where consumers can learn about ingredients or their skin concerns without having products advertised to them.

I sincerely hope this website achieves that goal, and that visitors get clear guidance and a better understanding of their skin and their products!
